I have just bought a Samsung Tab2, and this weekend took some images (still and video) with it.
On returning home, I un-mounted the card (Micro sdhc) placed it in an SD adapter and inserted it in my PC.
I the started Downloader Pro (V 2.3.1).
It found the photos 325 in total for yesterday, mostly jpgs but including 78 mp4s. There were also some images in the previous days folder, and DLP also indicated several other folders as Samsung places its images in the same place as for example audio, videos etc.
When I selected to download from the days shooting, the program told me there were 6 problem files and asked if I wished to continue (presumably with the non-problem files).
Soon the program crashed as it did each time I tried to repeat the exercise.
I have been able to copy all the images subsequently using Windows File Explorer, and all 325 images subsequently loaded into Lightroom.
Having done a bit of digging since, I did find two of the images that DLP was having problems with. According to the prog, it seems that the problems occurred with rotating jpgs. These two files were both "Picture in Picture" images generated internally by Samsung.
As background info, prior to loading the images I used DLP to import from a Panasonic, 289 images inc 8 MTS files, and subsequently I downloaded 250 images 10 10 MOV files. DLP had never crashed on me before.
